SoundTex® - Acoustic Fabric Specification
In order to increase the quantity of acoustic swallow of the panels, a special felt is used at the back of panels. This felt is made up a porous sound-absorbing material is our acoustic nonwoven SoundTex®. A special adhesive is applied on the felt and it is sticked on the panel by heat and pressure. In Turkey this felt is called acoustic fabric. In our products we use the first quality German made felt called SoundTex®. Its quality is certified internationally. The thickness of this felt is 0.2mm but the sound absorption quality is equal to the rockwool with thickness 4.00cm. SoundTex® is a membrane which has special qualifications. When used indoors a specific amount of sound is absorbed. After sound passing through the holes, sound energy is mainly converted into thermal energy by viscous friction between the oscillating particles of the sound-propagating medium (air) and the structure of the porous material. This product is antibacterial and anti allergic. Fireproof and NORM DIN – B 1 Class. We supply the SoundTex® to the market too.
